HealthyAmerica is also the national marketing organization for two associations: United Business Association (UBA) and Healthy America Association (HAA). We have also designed a set of non-insurance a la carte subscription plans called Benefit Boost Subscriptions that can be sold stand-alone to clients on three different enrollment platforms. Members of UBA have many options to build the right Membership that fits their needs. By becoming a UBA member, your clients become part of the United Business Association group. Adding to the base membership, members can enhance their membership with additional non-insurance services (virtual doctor visits, prescription discounts, dental discounts, free vitamins, & more) or optional supplemental insurance (supplemental medical, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, dental, vision or term life). Members do not have to purchase any of the optional supplemental insurance programs or Benefit Boost Subscription plans in order to join United Business Association. Healthy America Association also has a set of optional supplemental insurance programs and individual insurance plans that a member can choose to add to enhance their membership with HAA. Why does it all start with membership into the United Business Association (UBA) or Healthy America Association (HAA)?
UNITED BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (UBA)
The association was designed to organize small business owners and their employees into an association that offers its members valued services & benefits, to increase their purchasing power and to educate and provide helpful tools regarding small business. Membership includes multiple non-insurance services and benefits. Members do not have to purchase any additional optional supplemental plans that include group insurance or the optional non-insurance Benefit Boost Subscription plans in order to join the United Business Association. HEALTHY AMERICA ASSOCIATION (HAA)
The Healthy America Association (HAA) which is an association made up of members who are interested in enhancing their quality of life with healthy lifestyle related education information, discounts on benefits and services and other areas of interests to members. Healthy America Association helps assist members in taking advantage of the mass purchasing power of a large group. Members of HAA also have the opportunity to add any of the a la carte health and wellness non-insurance Benefit Boost Subscription plans to further enhance their membership. Members with HAA will also have the opportunity to add optional supplemental group insurance programs or endorsed individual insurance programs to their membership, however any purchase of insurance is not required to become a member of HAA. In the Optional Supplemental Insurance Category, you will be able to view plans that include a variety of types of supplemental group insurance. Various insurance carrier partners have issued master policies to the United Business Association to join UBA's efforts to do more for our members. As a member of the group, you have an exclusive access to a broad array of helpful types of optional group insurance like accident, critical illness and term life which are designed to supplement your comprehensive health insurance. These types of supplemental insurance provide coverage to help bridge the gap between traditional comprehensive coverage and any out-of-pocket medical expenses like deductibles, coinsurance and out-of-network costs. In the Dental & Vision category, various insurance carriers have issued a master group policy to the United Business Association. There is also an option to enroll in an individual vision insurance plan from VSP (UBA endorses this plan but membership is not required to enroll). Dental insurance can help with covered diagnostic & preventive services, basic services and major dental services. Vision insurance can help with vision costs like regular vision check-ups, frames, lenses and contacts.
